Event Production Company in Boston & New England
Coastal Productions handles the technical side of live events — audio, lighting, staging, video, power, staffing and day-of execution — for concerts, private and corporate events, festivals and Boston Harbor concert cruises. We've been producing shows for national and global artists in New England since 2016.
What we produce in-house
Audio
Concert-grade sound for indoor rooms, outdoor sites and vessels — system design, mix position, monitors and playback, run by our technical direction team.
Lighting
Stage and architectural lighting design, programming and operation, scaled to the room and the artist advance.
Staging & power
Stage builds, deck layouts, power solutions and infrastructure for venues and non-traditional sites that were never wired for a show.
Video & LED
LED displays and screens, step-and-repeat backdrops and custom branding elements for sponsors and brand activations.
Staffing & on-site execution
Event staff coordination, security and crowd management, vendor and contractor relations, and day-of operations management.
Ticketing & event planning
Advanced ticketing, custom box office systems, event logistics and coordination, and venue management support.
How a Coastal production runs
Scope and advance
We start from the artist or client advance and the site itself — load-in access, power, sightlines, curfew — then build the production plan and budget around what the venue actually allows.
Design and technical direction
Audio, lighting, staging and video are designed as one package under a single technical director, so nothing gets specced twice or missed between vendors.
Show day
Load-in, sound check, doors, show, load-out — staffed and managed by our team on site, with crowd management and vendor coordination handled in-house.
Production on the water
A large share of our Boston work happens on vessels, where load-in windows are fixed, power is limited and the show has to be struck before the boat re-docks. We produce our own ticketed Boston Harbor concert cruises from Rowes Wharf, which is the same production discipline we bring to venue and corporate work.
